Spicy, delicious and a nice change from plain old salsa. This yummy Poblanos salsa is packed full of flavor, with the hint of something a little unusual. It can be used in a variety of ways, as dip for tortilla chips, a marinade for steak, chicken or pork or as a seasoning if you want to add a little flavor to your favorite dish. Spicy doesn’t mean hot so use it whenever you want to dial up the flavor. If hot’s your thing, you can always add a jalapeno or two.
Homemade Poblanos Salsa Ingredients:

Step1: Using an oven mitt, place peppers over a medium gas flame. Use a grill or a culinary torch if you have an electric stove. Let the peppers roast for 10-15 minutes giving the peppers a quarter turn every few minutes until the peppers are soft and charred.
Step 2: Using a clean paper towel, wipe off some of the charring. The charring is what gives the poblano salsa it’s unique flavor. How much charring you leave on depends on your taste.
Step 3: Dice the peppers and onions and place in a food processor.
Step 4: Add the remaining ingredients to the food processor and pulse until you get a smooth sauce.
