Garlic Sesame Rice Noodles

This side dish recipe goes well with any Asian meal. It is simple to make and only takes 10 minutes to prepare.

Garlic Sesame Rice Noodles

This simple side dish is a delicious addition to any Asian meal.

  • 8 ounces rice noodles
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds ((optional))
  • green onion (sliced for garnish (optional))
  1. Cook the Noodles: Prepare the rice noodles according to package instructions (usually soaking in hot water until tender), then drain and set aside.

  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.

  3. Combine: Add the cooked rice noodles to the skillet, then pour in the soy sauce. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated.

  4. Finish: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with sliced green onions if desired. Serve warm
