An Update on the Kids

Oh, my heart is so full this week! Little Atticus and Dolly were reunited with their mom and dad on Monday, and what a joyful day that was! The case against them was dismissed, thank the good Lord above. It’s such a blessing to know they’ll all be together for Christmas—that’s what truly matters, isn’t it?

But, you know, the story isn’t over just yet. We’re still waiting to find out how Atticus got hurt in the first place. There’s a chance he might have something called osteogenesis imperfecta—brittle bone disease. We’re hoping and praying for answers soon, and above all, that he’ll be okay.

Of course, we still have a long road ahead with all the medical expenses piling up. It’s been a lot to handle, but we’re staying strong and grateful for the love and support of family and friends.

Still, I can’t tell you how much joy it brings us to know they’ll be home for Christmas. Just imagining them baking cookies and opening presents in their own home warms my heart. What a gift that is!

Came back to say, I am so terribly sorry for what your family is going through and the struggle. Praying all is resolved and those babies come home!
