Easy Recipes: BBQ Chicken Sandwiches

I don’t know about you but during the week our schedules are pretty crazy. Between church commitments, sports and after school activities I’m lucky if I can find time to breath let alone get dinner on the table. I’d like to say that I’m always prepared with a delicious meal waiting for us in the Crock Pot, but sometimes unexpected things pop up that I just can’t prepare for. On nights like those I’m left with two choices, make something quick or get take-out.

I usually choose to make something quick just because it costs a lot less. BBQ Chicken sandwiches are a favorite on nights like these. I can serve it on some packed buns along with some frozen fries and have it on the table in no time. It takes even less time if I have some leftover chicken on hand.

On days when I have more time to spend in the kitchen, I like to kick it up by making homemade buns and crispy oven fries, those homemade touches seem to make the meal seem more gourmet.
