BBQ Chicken Sandwiches with french fries and grapes. This cheap and easy recipe is perfect to serve during the week when time is limited. On the weekend, when you have more time, you can kick it up a notch by making homemade buns and fries. #easyrecipes #cheapmeals #bbqchicken
I don’t know about you but during the week our schedules are pretty crazy. Between church commitments, sports and after school activities I’m lucky if I can find time to breath let alone get dinner on the table. I’d like to say that I’m always prepared with a delicious meal waiting for us in the Crock Pot, but sometimes unexpected things pop up that I just can’t prepare for. On nights like those I’m left with two choices, make something quick or get take-out.
I usually choose to make something quick just because it costs a lot less. BBQ Chicken sandwiches are a favorite on nights like these. I can serve it on some packed buns along with some frozen fries and have it on the table in no time. It takes even less time if I have some leftover chicken on hand.
On days when I have more time to spend in the kitchen, I like to kick it up by making homemade buns and crispy oven fries, those homemade touches seem to make the meal seem more gourmet.
