Household Tips: 32 Unusual Uses for Nail Polish (WWII Series)

I think that I have just about every color in the rainbow of nail polish colors. The funny thing is, I hardly ever wear it because of all of the crafting, remodeling and refinishing that I do. It’s really hard to keep your nails looking nice with all that. However, my 2 year old glambaby loves it, she picks out a new color almost every time we go to the store. It always seems like a waste buying a new color, but it makes her happy and that’s what counts.

The last time I bought her some new nail polish it made me wonder if there were any household tips that my grandmother had. I sent  out the call to family and friends, and like always they came back with a huge list of unusual uses.

Now I don’t feel like I’m wasting money every time I buy the glambaby a new color.

The notebook is a small (aprox. 6″x9″) black leather, 3-ring binder, and contains hand drawn patterns (teddy bear), recipes and household tips and tricks. It would mean so much to my family to have it back.

This was fun, Robin! I love your WWII series. I've used some of these tips. When I was a kid, I always heard to put nail polish on a tick and it would smother and fall off. Thankfully, I never had to try that one. 😀 Thank you for sharing this at Treasure Box Tuesday! 🙂
