It’s was so nice to start work today with a clean and organized desk. I predict I’m going to get a lot of work done now. If you missed it, yesterday’s Home Organization Challenge was our weekly Office Day, go back and take the challenge before starting today’s challenge.

Today we are going to reward ourselves for all of the hard work that we’ve been doing by setting some time aside for a Me Day. Our lives get so busy throughout the week that we tend to put ourselves last on our list of priorities. The bad part about putting ourselves last on the list is that we rarely ever get to the end of the list. In order to actually have some time for yourself you need to schedule it, that’s why I’ve set aside one day a week for a Me Day.
I look forward to my Me Day every week. It’s a time that I can spend pampering myself and doing some activities that I rarely can find the time for. One of my favorite activities is watching a Chick-Flick, these movies aren’t usually ever chosen when you live in a house full of boys so I take full advantage on my Me Days.
Here’s what my Me Day looks like:
- Manicure
- Pedicure
- Hair Appointments
- Bubble Bath
- Facial
- Massage
- Read
- Watch a Chick-Flick
I like having my Me Day on Wednesday, it breaks up my week and gives me something to look forward to. I’ve been having my Me Day for a few years and my family has learned that Me Day is not to be interrupted unless someone is bleeding.
After you print the Me Day and you’ve added your activities, file it under the weekly tab in your Reminder Binder. I like to place the printable in a sheet protector so that I can use a dry erase marker to mark off the activities as they’ve been completed. At the end of the week you’ll decide which day of the week will be best for performing the activities.
