Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 medium onions diced
- 2 cans (15.25 oz) black beans drained & rinsed
- 2 cans (15.5 oz) pinto beans drained & rinsed
- 2 cans (15.5 oz) light kidney beans drained & rinsed
- 2 cans (15.5 oz) dark kidney beans drained & rinsed
- 2 cans (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- In a large soup pot, over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain off the excess fat and add onions. Continue cooking until the onions are translucent.
- Add the rinsed beans, tomatoes and chili powder, stir to combine.
- Lower the heat and simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Ladle into serving bowls and top with your favorite toppings.
