Have you ever had edamame (ay-duh-MAH-may)? Edamame are young soybeans, still in their pods. Now before you turn your nose up you should know, they have a really wonderful flavor and they are good for you. They happen to be one of my kids favorite snacks, they go nuts over the stuff, which I don’t mind , at least it’s not sugar.

Garlic Edamame

Edamame: To eat, open the pod with your teeth, and squeeze the beans into your mouth. Eating it while it’s still in the pod will give you more of the garlic flavor.

Garlic: Be careful not to over cook the garlic, overcooking tends to make the garlic bitter.

Salt: You can use any kind of salt to season the edamame. I like to use Himalayan Sea Salt, especially with this. The Himalayan sea salt is one of the cleanest salts and it’s a healthier option, plus it really bring out the amazing flavor of the edamame.

Stopping by from wall to wall diy wednesdays. I’ve always just used salt to top edamame but this sounds delicious. I’ll definitely give it a try! 🙂

Using salt is how I always ate it until I went to Hawaii, now it’s my favorite way to eat it.
