Homemade Refried Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pinto beans, dry
  • 1/2 cup lard
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ med onion diced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cumin

Instructions

  • Prepare beans according to package directions. Drain.
  • Heat lard in a large skillet and cook garlic and onions until translucent. Add beans, salt and cumin to the skillet and mash until they are the consistency that you want.
