Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion diced
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers crushed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a small bowl, beat the eggs. Stir in the ketchup, salt and pepper.
  • In a large bowl, add the ground beef, onion, cheese, crackers, and egg mixture. Work the ingredients together until well combined. Place in a loaf pan, top with ketchup (optional).
  • Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit 5 minutes before serving.
