Ingredients
1tablespooncornstarch
1/2cupwaterplus 2 tablespoons
1 1/2cupsblueberriesfresh or frozen
1/4cupsugar
1/4teaspoonlemon juice
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and a 2 tablespoons of water, set aside.
Place 1 cup blueberries into a small saucepan, add remaining water, sugar and lemon juice. Heat over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil and blueberries begin to burst.
Stir in the dissolved cornstarch and bring to a rolling boil. Lower the heat, add remaining blueberries and simmer until the sauce reaches the desired consistency. Remove from heat and serve.
