Ingredients

  • 1 lb Russet potatoes diced
  • 1 lg sweet onion diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb smoked sausage sliced
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prep - gather all of the ingredients and equipment that you need. Clean and dice the potatoes and onions. Slice the sausage, set aside.
  • Heat your skillet over medium high-heat. Add olive oil and let it warm for a few minutes. Toss in the diced potatoes and onions, evenly distribute in the pan and season with garlic salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce the heat to medium, add the sliced sausage and cook for an additional 5-7, or until the sausage is browned.
  • Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
