Deliciously Simple Blueberry Sauce
This simple blueberry sauce recipe can be made in less than 10 minutes, using fresh blueberries. Serve it with your favorite dessert or try it on a savory dish, like pork sandwiches. Just make sure you've made a lot, because it goes fast.

- 1 1/2 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water plus 2 tablespoons
In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and a 2 tablespoons of water, set aside.
Place 1 cup blueberries into a small saucepan, add water, sugar and lemon juice. Heat over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil and blueberries begin to burst.
Stir in the dissolved cornstarch and bring to a rolling boil. Lower the heat, add remaining blueberries and simmer until the sauce reaches the desired consistency. Remove from heat and serve.
