- ¾ cup light brown sugar
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- nutmeg to taste
- 7 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored & sliced
- 1 lemon juice and zest
- 12 10-inch flour tortillas
- vegetable oil
- caramel sauce (optional)
- cinnamon sugar (optional)
Preheat the air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 400°F.
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
In a large bowl, toss the apples with lemon juice, then add the sugar mixture and toss to coat the apples.
Warm the tortilla, to make it pliable, then place ½-3/4 cup of the apple filling in the center of tortilla. Fold like a burrito and seal using a little water brushed on the edge. *Use toothpicks if needed to hold it together. Lightly spray or brush the tortilla with oil.
Place in air fryer, don’t overcrowd the basket, seam side down and cook at 400°F for 6-7 minutes, turning once after 4 minutes. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes and drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
