Ingredients

  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • nutmeg to taste
  • 7 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored & sliced
  • 1 lemon juice and zest
  • 12 10-inch flour tortillas
  • vegetable oil
  • caramel sauce (optional)
  • cinnamon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 400°F.
  • In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • In a large bowl, toss the apples with lemon juice, then add the sugar mixture and toss to coat the apples.
  • Warm the tortilla, to make it pliable, then place ½-3/4 cup of the apple filling in the center of tortilla. Fold like a burrito and seal using a little water brushed on the edge. *Use toothpicks if needed to hold it together. Lightly spray or brush the tortilla with oil.
  • Place in air fryer, don’t overcrowd the basket, seam side down and cook at 400°F for 6-7 minutes, turning once after 4 minutes. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes and drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
