  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground sirloin
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • ½ bell pepper, chopped
  • ¼ cup steak sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 provolone cheese, slices
  • pizza dough, thin crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground sirloin in olive oil. Add the onion and bell peppers and cook until the onions and peppers are tender.
  3. Stir in the steak sauce, water, bouillon cubes and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until liquid is completely absorbed. Set aside.
  4. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet. Stretch pizza dough on the parchment paper. Place four slices of cheese on the pizza dough, near the edge of the dough. Spoon the meat mixture over the cheese, staying away from the edges.
  5. Roll the cheese and meat mixture up in the pizza dough. Pinching off the ends.
  6. Bake in a 350°F oven for 15-17 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
