Our 11 year old son, who is in the 5th grade came home from school on Friday with a Styrofoam ball and a water bottle. His weekend project was to take the water bottle and Styrofoam ball and make a replica of Teddy Roosevelt. Thank goodness I do a lot of crafts so we had all of the things that he needed to create Teddy. Our son did all of the designing, painting and cutting and mom and dad helped with the hot gluing.
I think all of the years that I have been crafting with the kids has paid off. He did a really good job, it actually looks like Theodore Roosevelt our 26th President.
