FREE Online Recipe Storage, Menu Planner & Grocery Lists

January 30, 2013 by Robin Leave a Comment

UPDATE: Ziplist is no longer available.

One of my organization projects for February is to get a handle on all of my recipes. Currently I have recipes torn out of magazines, written on scraps of paper and a stack of recipes that I have printed off of the internet. Locating a specific recipe in this mess is a huge task.

Over the last couple of weeks I have been planning the organization of my recipes. I have used many recipe sites in the past but none of them were exactly what I wanted or needed. The other day as I was doing my research for this project I came across a new (to me) website called ZipList. I think I’m hooked! It appears to have everything that I want and need.

Check this out:

  1. FREE
  2. CLIP your favorite recipes from the web
  3. SHARE recipes with Family and Friends
  4. CREATE weekly Meal Plans
  5. ORGANIZE your Grocery List
  6. CATEGORIZEs ingredients
  7. SORTs your grocery list by Isle or Store
  8. SYNCs your grocery list and recipes to your cell phone
  9. INTEGRATED with the webs best food sites
  10. FREE MOBILE APPS
  11. BARCODE SCANNING – to add items to your grocery list
  12. SAVE your family recipes in your Universal Recipe Box
  13. SORT recipes by source, ingredients or cook time
  14. LINKS grocery list items with coupons
  15. DEALS from your favorite grocery stores
I’m so excited about all of the services ZipList offers and it’s FREE, cant’ beat that. It’ll be so nice to have all of my recipes organized and in one place, finally. What I’m really thrilled about is that my Weekly Meal Planning will be a breeze now.
Check it out and let me know what you think.
